Well, well, well, looks like these guys have been listening to their Vanilla Fudge records. I don't know anything about this group, but upon laying ears to this, they must've been strongly influenced by The Vanilla Fudge. Their choice of cover song ought to tip you off a little. And if it doesn't, the heavy, swirling organ, heavy fuzz guitar and crashing drums certainly will. "Shotgun" is definitely the better side here, with enough fuzz and heaviness to satisfy. It's not as raucous as VF's version, but it's still got enough of its own power. As for "Sad Memories," well, I guess they had to get one ballad out of them. File it under the "Not Bad But Not Great" category.
