Jimmy Carroll: "Big Green Car"


Look what a quarter will still get you. That's what I paid for this 1958 winner at a recent record show. Surprising too, since it'd sat for nearly half the day before I found it. I didn't know the tune but it sure looked interesting enough to risk two bits.

  2. Fantastic record! I was only familiar The Polecats version. It appears on their stunning 1981 LP "Polecats Are Go! It's hard to believe you found Jimmy Carroll's original... and for only a quarter! Congratulations!!!
