Liverpool Five - She's Mine

Here's another recent find of mine. After I brought this home, along with the rest of the take from the record show, I emailed a list of my finds to Brian Marshall. He commented that the Liverpool Five are hit and miss, something I totally agree with. I've had a couple of their other singles and, while they weren't bad, they certainly weren't anything terrific either. Well, this one is a big HIT around here. I love the guitars and the manic drumming, a la the Yardbirds on "I'm A Man". The Liverpool Five as real garage rockers.

If you think this is good, listen to some of their other stuff on uTube--they have some really, really great songs. Their Best of the Liverpool Five from Sundazed Records is really really good. Some of their great music is also available on Ebay. They should have been famous--they were really, really good.

As a result of finding this fabulous tune I checked out their other material on Yu Tube and have to wonder why they were never as big as other less talented English bands. Great posting.
